Local Facilities

The two nearest villages are Besle (1.5km) and Langon (2km). Both have mini supermarkets, bars, fuel, post offices, café's and excellent restaurants. We keep all information, opening times etc available on site for guests.

The town of Guemene Penfoa is 11km away, with more restaurants and the nearest large supermarket Super U, with supermarket price fuel.

The larger town and port of Redon is 22km away. Redon hosts a shopping area, nearest fishing tackle shop, lots of café's and restaurants, plus the port, where some of the local major rivers and canals meet.

Within close range of La Morinais there is; go-karting, 10 pin bowling, two swimming pools, canoeing, plenty of horse riding, great woodland and riverside cycle routes.

The nearest beach is Damgon at 45 mins away. Also there are the lovely character towns of La Roche Bernard, Malestroit (war museum) and La Gacily. Other places to go swimming are Lac de Plessis, Lac Aumee and an outdoor pool next to the Nantes/Brest canal (25kms away).
